The Pillars of Marketing
I often speak of multi-pillar marketing. Let’s say you have me build you a kick-ass web site that is generating huge amounts of traffic and clicks to your site. Visitors read your excellent sales message and contact you. Now what?
Of course, you try to make a sale or get the prospect to your store, business or practice.
They arrive and buy something from you or use your service. Now what?
You need to have a multi-pillar marketing system in place that will maximize the value of each client, build a long-term relationship and leverage the relationship for contacts, testimonials and referrals.
To succeed, you need to have a marketing system in place that you’ve automated as much as possible to build and strengthen client relationships. You need to plan on monthly contacts via email, phone, physical sales calls or postal mail. You want them to gladly give you testimonials and referrals. It’s about leverage. It’s putting your marketing on steroids.
You can either create a system to do what I write about above or plan on joining the thousands of other businesses on the treadmill always chasing new clients.
The core elements of a multi-pillar marketing system are:
- Creating a compelling Unique Selling Proposition
- Sales training or, in the case of online sales, good copywriting and other strategies to cross-sell, up-sell and bundle products and services to increase the average transaction value.
- CRM (Customer Relationship Management), which is a database marketing strategy to keep in touch with your clients.
- Joint Venture or Strategic Alliance Marketing in which you team up with other businesses in non-competitive industries to leverage the relationships they have with their clients.
- Internet marketing to harness the power of the web for laser-targeted marketing to reach the exact type of client who is actively searching for your products or services.
Throughout this site, you’ll find many powerful strategies you can use to increase your sales without risking additional money on ineffective advertising or reaching out to find the next magical solution.
A lot of the marketing I teach clients is fairly simple and will seem obvious once you begin to implement my powerful marketing strategies in your business. What you can do is capitalize on my 30 years of marketing success to get a quick start out of the chute.
However…
My internet marketing strategies and tactics are very advanced and are incredibly effective at driving traffic and closing sales.
