Paul Flood Marketing, Increase small business salesPaul Flood is a husband and the father of two college-age daughters in southwest Ohio. During his career in sales and marketing, he’s worked for both small and large firms. As the product manager of a major office equipment manufacturer in Chicago, he developed managed a $60,000,000 product line with worldwide distribution. Two of the products he conceived and developed were given end-cap placement in Staples and Office Depot and resulted in millions of dollars in worldwide sales.

Wanting to leave the corporate life, Paul took over sales and marketing for a small travel agency in Cincinnati and, within a few years, increased the sales from under a million dollars a year to over $14 million dollars per year while drastically increasing profitability.

He is also an expert in employee and customer motivation, behavior and incentives. He has run sales incentive programs that increased sales and profitability by over 50% in less than six months.

As a serious student of sales, marketing and motivation, Paul always wondered why businesses so often ignore the assets they already have and spend huge amounts of time and money trying to get new prospects and customers while not trying to get existing customers to buy more and more often. Being asked for a referral is a rarity.

The small business owner becomes the victim of advertising and media sales representatives more interested in making a sale for themselves than for their customer. What Paul offers the small business owner, is the Hidden Asset Marketing System, a way to dramatically increase sales without spending more on advertising.

He received the Ernst & Young-Cincinnati Business Courier 40 Under 40 Award, which recognizes community leaders under 40 years old (that was a while ago!) and also was recognized with the Innovative Leadership Award by the National Association Of Sales Professionals in 1992.

He has served as Chairman of the Board of the Clermont Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer of the Clermont Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau, President of the Northwest Clermont Rotary Club, as a member of the City of Fairfield 2010 Strategic Planning Committee, Past President of the Leadership Clermont Alumni Association, Personnel Committee Chair for the Fairfield City Schools Building Excellent Schools Together Committee. He was an Executive Committee member of the Citizens for Fairfield Schools and he serves on the Butler Tech Advisory Committee at the Fairfield Middle School and is a member of the CincyTech USA Leadership Council, a council focused on promoting technology based economic development in the Greater Cincinnati region.
